This is the demo version of Tesserae™, a new game for the Macintosh from Inline Design. Tesserae will run on any Mac from a Plus on up, including the new Classic, LC, and IIsi. It looks great in 8-bit color and b&w.
There are complete directions in the game itself. Press the Instructions button on the opening screen, or select Instructions… from the Apple menu.
The demo has been limited to only two mosaics, no saving games, and no scores. The real deal has nine mosaics, three levels of difficulty, the ability to save games at any time, a tournament mode, and countless score boards. However, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what Tesserae is all about.
Tesserae is available at your local retailer and all the mail-order houses. If you have trouble locating it in your area, please call us at (203) 364-0063 for the location of a dealer near you.
Inline Design is the publisher of the award winning BOMBER and the recent hit, Darwin’s Dilemma. We are a Mac only company and try to offer the best support in the business.
You may find a compatibility problem with the DiskLight INIT from the Norton Utilities package. The only way to solve this is to remove the DiskLight INIT from your System Folder and reboot. We have notified Norton of the problem and they should be working on a fix for this.
Like all Inline Design games, Tesserae has no copy protection of any kind. While you are free to pass this demo along to anyone you like, the real deal is meant only for your own use.
This demo is free. You may give it to anyone you like, as long as you do not charge for it, and as long as this text file goes with it.
Not-for-profit Macintosh User Groups may add this demo to their disk library and BBS. No other organization or company may charge for this demo in any way shape or form. This includes companies who, “Charge only for the disk on which the file is placed.” Inline Design will strictly enforce these simple requirements.
Now that we have the legal stuff out of the way, please have a good time with Tesserae. We can be reached at any of the following places:
